“The personnel working with us were all very professional and compassionate.
My one issue was the breakdown in communication between Swan and the soldiers home regarding the farewell. They had Not received confirmation on the date and time so when we arrived, they were not expecting us and it had not been advertised so it was poorly attended.
My mother also thought she would receive a list of those that had given flowers”
“This cemetery is right in the midst of the most beautiful nature scenes ever. A beautiful river flows in the back, gorgeous trees, and an eagles nest surrounded by all this perfect history. I could of stayed there forever just taking in the beauty and peacefulness.There's graves from many different time periods.If you're a Griswold decendent like me, our original ancestors who came to America is laid to rest here. It's wonderful to see.If you're an old new england colonist, this is the place you might want to look for your own ancestors!?Wonderful place.”
