Waited over an hour, no one came to talk to me. Had to walk and ask where my doctor was. Got there at 8:45 still wasn’t seen when I left at 10. If you actually want to be seen by a doctor go somewhere else. Unprofessional

Marissa is the worst doctor to go to! She didn’t listen to anything I requested for my daughter to be tested for, she was extremely rude, she also was undermining me when I told her that my daughters primary doctors schedule didn’t work with mine and how I needed times that worked with my schedule. She proceeded to tell me “well we all work and have to figure it out” 😡 unbelievable. Zero stars on this doctor. Worthless.

They say you can be up to 10 min late called them ran in at the 11 min mark and they wouldn't take me. I called in 45 min ahead to let them know if this as well.

I was a new patient at UFMC in Pueblo. I had done all the necessary paperwork for my initial Medicare visit. My appointment was at 2:30 and I arrived a few minutes before but the receptionist's computer was running slow, so not sure what time I was actually checked in. I waited until about 3:00 and went up to the front desk to make sure I hadn't fallen through the cracks. There was a sign that asked if you had waited more than 15 minutes to speak to reception but I realize that providers do get behind so I had given them 30 minutes. She went back to ask when the PA could see me. She came back to inform me that the provider wouldn't be able to see me today because he was really busy and asked me to reschedule. I explained to her that I lived more than an hour away and that I specifically driven to Pueblo for this appointment. Her response was that she had an opening the following week. As a provider myself, I have never in my 25 years of seeing patients sent a patient away because I was too busy, especially a patient coming from out of town! I was very polite (speechless actually!) and I think to shocked to be impolite, so I told her that was fine, but that I would call the clinic to reschedule. I'm still bewildered at this experience and will find a clinic where patients are a priority.
The clinic has my information and I would gladly accept a phone call to discuss this.
So, I got a text from the clinic asking me if I wanted to reschedule since I "missed" my appointment, insinuating that it was my fault that my appointment didn't happen. I will be checking with Medicare to ensure they aren't getting charged for a "missed" or no show appointment.

Spoke with an office staff member in November of 2023 and said they were accepting new patients. She was really nice and helpful when I explained I wanted to change over when I got my new insurance. Told her I would come back after the holidays to start seeing one of the providers. Just called today and a woman named Brenda told me they are not and will not be accepting new patients the rest of the year. She was so rude and shirt with me...I guess it worked out for the best because if they have someone like that there then I would not want to go. I also recommended them to 3 other people and they were able to get in with no issues. How very sad.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Anaya for a very long time. The medical professionals at University Family Medical Center have always taken my health needs seriously. Their team sees that I get the care I want and need.
