Our Hospice nurse Britney in Canon City Hospice care is truly the best nurse that my wife and I have ever met, she gave us an extensive education for free and she acted more like family than a nurse. We have worked in the medical industry for a couple of decades in numerous states and we have never been more impressed with a nurse or doctor as we are with Britney. This woman is worth her weight in Gold multiplied by a million, she owns our hearts and we couldn’t be more grateful to her. Makes us want to move down here from Minnesota! I'm so impressed with the Sangre de Cristo Community Care. Hospice service from Cañon City has been the biggest blessing for our family. We have a nurse Britney from Cañon City that has helped us in numerous ways. I just love her! I don't know what we would do without her. She is so caring and thoughtful. She has given us the knowledge and confidence to help care for our loved one without any stress and she has just the best personality while working such a high stress job. What an amazing person. She has been a saint to us. Thank you for everything!

My mom was on Hospice and had the best care. The whole team was exceptional and she adored her CNA'S Karen and Chezney. She lit up everytime they came to visit and she felt seen and heard and never a burden. My mom passed comfortably and clean and at home and that's thanks to Sangre. We miss her everyday but we are so grateful for everyone that took such good care of her. Thank you.

Sangre De cristo now helps take care of me and I am incredibly grateful. No one wants to be in this position but life is difficult at times. They take great care of me, they help when needed and have given me a chance to be prepared for my future needs

My review is for Kris Sanchez when she was employed by Sangre de Cristo. Kris cared for our mother during her time in hospice. Her professionalism, compassion, and ability to make my mother smile became priceless to us. The knowledge and care for she showed to our family helped us prepare for our loss. I can imagine the huge loss it was to your team when she moved on. She will be valued by anyone who works with her. Thank you Kris!

My mother. Passed at this place, In twenty eighteen. I came to visit her one morning and was stopped by a office worker.The worker said that we needed to immediately make a plan for her removal from hospice house. We were standing in my mother's room and my mother was slumped over half out of her bed from having had, apparently another stroke !! the office worker said the nurse will take care of her !! We need to talk. I'm standing there looking at my mother falling out of her bed. And they would not let me help her !! She had 100% disabled veteran coverage.It had nothing to do with them try to receive payment from me. The only reason I can think of for this is that, they simply did not care, most horrible place. There was no caring for my mother other than I guess the absolute necessity. I think about this everyday.
