Pueblo Animal Urgent Care is an after-hours veterinary service serving Pueblo and surrounding areas. They offer a range of services and utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. The clinic prioritizes patient care based on urgency. While they strive to see all patients promptly, those with less critical conditions might experience a wait. Patients are currently seen curbside. The staff is known for being friendly, helpful, and understanding, especially during stressful situations.
Reviewers have praised the competence of the staff and veterinarians, highlighting their experience and ability to provide clear explanations about procedures and potential outcomes. The front desk staff is often helpful and walks clients through each step, making visits easier. The veterinarian explains everything thoroughly and clearly, ensuring clients know what to expect and how long procedures might take.
While services are more expensive than standard vet visits, they are considered more affordable than 24-hour emergency veterinary clinics. Reviewers found the pricing to be reasonable in comparison to other options in the area. Some clients appreciated the honesty of the staff, such as upfront communication about treatment limitations and costs. However, safety and security concerns are noted, with some feeling the locked door policy creates a cold atmosphere, and there have been issues with follow-through on calls, which can impact trust. Despite this, many acknowledge that the staff’s kindness and professionalism make the experience worthwhile.
