Urgent Care Pueblo West - Southern Colorado Clinic is a compassionate and welcoming facility. The doctors, including Dr. DeRuiter and Dr. Briggs, are genuinely caring, thorough, and take their time to listen to patients without making them feel rushed. They go above and beyond, address medical history seriously, and provide swift care. The staff and medical assistants are generally friendly, kind, and helpful. The facility itself is clean. Wait times are often short, even on weekends, allowing patients to get in right away. While most experiences are highly recommended, there have been rare instances where a staff member was perceived as rude. Overall, it is considered a wonderful place with great doctors who provide comfortable and trusted care.
It’s never fun to go to an urgent care, but I will drive the distance to go to this location. Dr. DeRuiter is the kindest man and the staff are equally attentive. Patience is expected with urgent care locations! These places get busy and there’s only so many doctors and nurses working. It’s better than going to the ER or waiting weeks to be seen by your PCP. The hope is to never get sick, but when I do and I can’t get in to see my PCP, I go here. Thanks to the staff for getting me through my first experience with COVID.
