About Healing Waters Resort & Spa
Healing Waters Resort & Spa offers a welcoming atmosphere and great service. The resort provides comfortable accommodations, including a bunk house with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The hot springs and pools come in various temperatures, including 111 degrees, and offer a unique experience. Guests can enjoy nearby activities, such as the park and San Juan river, and walk to nearby food places and the resort next door. The hotel is impeccable and clean, with spacious and well-equipped rooms featuring a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, TV, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The outdoor hot springs pool, filled with 100% natural mineral water, is a pleasant experience. The resort has free parking in front of the rooms. While breakfast is not available on-site, the friendly and welcoming staff are ready to assist guests. The on-site spa offers excellent services, such as the highly rated massage from Karli. However, there are a few areas for improvement, including providing the Wi-Fi password, clarifying the locker policies, and ensuring the facilities are fully functional. Overall, Healing Waters Resort & Spa is a relaxing and reasonably priced destination, with stunning views, especially at night.
All of the natural spring pools are incredibly relaxing, and are in my opinion the highlight of the resort. However, the view from the porch onto the mountain was spectacular bring binoculars for birdwatching. You will also see other animals like deer, chipmunks, raccoons, and birds of all kinds.
We still love this place but its in dire need of what i consider easy upgrading! Rooms are super clean and comfy but a little outdated. All the staff is super nice. The real issue is the outdoor space.... the flowers are beautiful but courtyard furniture needs replacing and more sun shades need to be installed in courtyard and pool area, a better bbq area and maybe move bird bath and bird feeder to a concrete area so birds dont poop all over lawn furniture. Clock installed by hot tub fairy lights put back up in the trees and working vending machines would be great! Also the concrete pathway to hot tub is all torn up and hurts your feet. With

We had a nice, quiet stay here as the natural mineral springs, warm water pool was amazing! After soaking in it the first day for like 90 minutes, me and my spouse walked out of it and felt like we had popped several Xanax! LOL. It was THAT relaxing. We didnt use the warmer tubs or enclosed spots just the outdoor pool and that was enough. Yes, the rooms are dated (perhaps even rustic), but for us it was all we needed. Nice kitchenette and amenities. The room and general property was clean. The king bed though was meh and a bit lumpy which was the only downside for us. Great location in the midst of everything and staff was kind and helpful.
