“Called Boulder Handyman after getting ridiculous bids from Nextdoor platform advertisers (thought one could get the most relevant and valuable info in your local neighborhood platform - NO). The platform is probably getting a huge cut. Very disappointed. Google search delivers yet again. Boulder Handyman's coordinator Kara is quick to respond and very easy to communicate with for specifics of my project for a reasonable price. Dustin was patient and listened carefully how we like it done and finished the job in a efficient way. Will definitely call them first for any future projects. Highly recommend this company.“

“We had Alan and Armando expand our closet and overall it was a great experience. They came in and even though we weren't the most organized were able to come up with a quote. We made some adhoc decisions in the build and made some weird requests (no new floor, leave off the molding, no paint, etc...) and they really handled it all in a very professional manner. End of the day the new drywall was pristine and the install was done exactly as we wanted. Now we have the master bedroom closet we always wanted! Thank you so much! “May 2019, we had a warm winter, like 70° days, so I didn't notice what would be my biggest fight for this house would last 6 years. The only water pipe they put along the north wall, and under the slab was my kitchen sink. I called to complain about it being frozen. I felt like IT was asking if I had turned it off and back on ? but started looking into the random pictures I had taken during construction and found one showing holes in the wall, by the pipe before insulation and drywall. Each year I called in when it'd freeze knowing they weren't going to do the legwork to find out what was or wasn't in the wall. FFW to 2024 we had a bad hail storm and they refused to come for the reveal. I thought I was going to have to go broke fixing it should there be something. June 2025 the big reveal was finally going to happen, I called again and got no response, but the damaged siding was coming off, I'm anxiously videoing, and there it is, the proof I needed. I called again, saying they needed to come asap, again, no response. All the years of high electric/gas bills, freezing to death with an outdoor heater, inside, how was I going to do this, I posted on FB. A team showed up the next day, then the next day a crew was there to rip out the damaged wall, reinsulate and put in a new wall, to my standards, we agreed upon. This is not a fairytale story, but if I hadn't kept on them, I wouldn't have found out that yea, they got a bad rap, but the current team is willing to work things out. They can't go back and fix what previous teams did wrong, but they want all owners to love their homes and stay in the community they built for us. Of course there's things I wish were different, but they did right by me and I hope they can for you too!“
