Everyone is great and very supportive of neuro-diverse kids. My daughter loves it!

SMAA is a great place to learn and practice Martial Arts. The instructors are not only qualified but excellent in building relationships with the students regardless of age, gender, background or ability. Furthermore, if you have a MA student with special needs, this is the place to go, where community and friendships are as important as learning and practicing the tenets of Martial Arts.

My son has been taking classes for 4 1/2 years. He absolutely loves it and we do too! It has been such a great place for him. He has learned so much and the teachers really work with the kids to figure out the best ways to teach each individual student. The school teaches discipline, but is nurturing and understanding. For example, just last week my son was so disappointed to discover that he accidently left his belt at home. He was sure that he shouldn't attend class without it! Mr. Brad stopped my son and reassured him saying "You are more important than your belt" and told him to hurry on to class. My son carried on to have an excellent class and is now more careful than ever to remember his belt!
