Our daughter had been dealing with long-term concussion and neck injury symptoms from horseback riding that were impacting her daily life for years — multiple episodes of dizziness every day, headaches, neck pain, exercise intolerance, and even fainting. We had been to three different physical therapists before finding Michael, and the difference was almost immediate.
Michael was the first PT who gave us a truly targeted, specific, data-based plan. He measured what was happening, knew exactly what he was working toward, and we could actually see the progress. Just as importantly, he connected incredibly well with our daughter. He took the time to understand not only what she needed physically, but who she was as a person and how to work with her in a way that made her feel comfortable, motivated, and understood.
The results have been remarkable. She went from multiple dizzy spells a day, frequent headaches, neck pain, fainting, and difficulty tolerating exercise to close to zero dizziness (less than once month) and zero neck pain. She is back to being a competitive equestrian rider and, more importantly, back to being the fun-loving, goofy, full-of-life high schooler we know.
