About High Drive Dog Company

High Drive Dog Company, led by Carly, offers dog training programs focused on changing the owner's behavior to improve the dog's well-being. Carly is known for her direct and comprehensive training style, emphasizing the importance of understanding dog behavior. The company's foundation classes are lecture-heavy, aiming to educate owners on how dogs think and how their actions can impact their dogs. Carly believes that the key to successful training is shifting the owner's mindset rather than simply teaching tricks. Some owners may find Carly's approach challenging as she provides direct feedback, which can be perceived as criticism. However, this feedback is intended to be constructive and help owners identify areas for improvement. High Drive Dog Company emphasizes the importance of consistent practice and reinforces training outside of class sessions. Owners report seeing positive changes in their dogs' behavior, such as improved leash manners, decreased barking, and increased confidence. The program has been praised for its effectiveness in addressing behavioral issues and strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners. Owners who are committed to understanding and changing their own behavior to better communicate with their dogs are likely to benefit from High Drive Dog Company's training methods.

We saw that first hand when we attended the classes, didn’t do...read full review

If you’ve been reading all the reviews and been confused about the huge discrepancy in ratings, and don’t know whether this will be the worst or best thing for your dog, I totally get it. She’s obsessed with helping people understand their dogs. And it shows. The people that say she...read full review

Our and Tilly’s training with Carly at High Drive has been a game changer. We communicate so much better with Tilly and our learning has made a huge difference. So grateful that we found High Drive.
