Easy to miss the driveway, no sign but look for the bright yellow mailbox with a squirrel figure on top. Very kind and helpful staff. They focused on the injured animal. Very impressed.

These people take on the burden and extremely hard work of taking in sick, injured, and distressed animals. Sometimes they have to make the tough decision to let the animal go peacefully if a healthy recovery and return to the wild is not viable. I have called about two separate incidents in which I've found injured wild animals, and they respond with thoughtfulness and compassion. I'm grateful a place like this exists. Donations go a long way to keep them going!

The staff and volunteers are truly angels on earth. Please consider donating money to keep this operation going. While bringing a waterfowl in for care there were four other people waiting. One person had four baby raccoons all the way from Brush CO. The staff were so busy, but calm. It had to be exhausting. They handled each animal case with grace and care. As I drove back home I was so relieved and thankful knowing that this animal was in capable hands. There was a sign there showing the cost of that one waterfowl, it would be $100. Those raccoons $1500 each. Please consider a monthly donation to this center. We have to keep it going.

Absolutely helpful with some orphaned rabbits we found at work when clearing a flower box full of weeds hiding their nest. Donations are not required but every dollar greatly helps them with the cost of care as needed and/or rehabilitation. Much appreciated 🫶

We found an abandoned mallard duckling in our neighborhood. It had no eyes and was tiny, no more than a day or 2 old. I surrendered it to these folks and hope they can nurse it to good health and help it rehab to be able to eat on its own and perhaps live out it's life in a sanctuary somewhere. They were empathetic and assured me their capable staff would do everything they could to help the little thing.

Lovely wild life sanctuary for smaller animals with professional and compassionate staff! Emily was great as she welcomed the rescued orphan baby squirrel we found and named Cutie ! She's in great hands now! Thank God for this place 🙏🏼

I had a hawk drop a young squirrel in my yard over the weekend and was stressed trying to figure out the best course of action to get it out while also giving it a chance of survival. After calling multiple animal control offices in the Denver area and not getting any help (for a variety of reasons- animal is too mobile, animal is wild, etc.) I called Greenwood and talked with Alie and she gave me information on how to care for the squirrel temporarily and helped me figure out how to get my squirrel to them. Very thankful for her help and the work of this rehabilitation center!

They accomplish the task they were invented for! It takes a very special group of individuals to manage this operation. And, I'm relieved to know places like this exist, for the underprivileged.
