“I deleted my previous review, not because it was bad. I have to say that I honestly don't believe some of these people when they rate this salon 1 stars. I have been coming here for 2 years and they know me by name and treat me like family. James is nothing short of amazing. He is fast and precise. I am moving soon and will continue to come to magic nails because of how they treat their clients. If something isn't right, let them know. They have no problems fixing it. If you don't feel comfortable with someone there, they will put you with someone else. Just advocate for yourself. Don't just sit there unhappy, pay money for a service you hate and then rate a business because you made the choice to not advocate.

Anyways, I also wanted to say thank you to Jessi for always making my mother feel welcome as well. She absolutely adores you. You do great work, you are friendly and she is always getting compliments in her nails.

“I can’t say enough good things about this salon. Kyle has done two sets for me now, and I don’t see myself going anywhere else.

He is incredibly detail-oriented and takes his time to make sure every single nail is perfectly shaped, even, and straight. My cuticles are always cleaned up beautifully, and as a hairstylist, I really appreciate that he even seals my natural nail as it grows out so my nails don’t get stained by hair color. It’s such a thoughtful detail that most people wouldn’t even think about.

The white set is a 3-week rebase I had done today, and it was $70 before tip. He spent about an hour and a half making sure everything was absolutely perfect, and for the quality of his work, I think that’s more than fair. The blue set was my first visit and a full set from scratch, and I was just as impressed.

I also had a pedicure with Julia on my first visit. She doesn’t speak English, but that wasn’t an issue at all. She did an amazing job, and three weeks later my feet still looked and felt great.

The salon is very clean, has every color you could possibly want, and I’ve been really happy with every visit. They’re not super chatty, which honestly doesn’t bother me. Next time I’ll probably bring my AirPods and watch Netflix while Kyle works his magic.

I’m almost hesitant to leave this review because I don’t want everyone booking Kyle before I can get an appointment 😂, but he absolutely deserves the recognition. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about the quality of their work, I highly recommend him. My nails have never looked this good, and I’ve been getting them done for well over 10 years. I’m new to the Roxborough area and found my new nail home.“
