I took in two pairs of jeans, one for hem and the other for mending a small tear. I was quoted $35. When I picked up she added $15 more for various little thread work that I didn’t ask for.

To her credit the woman at this store did say that she would not be able to do the zipper replacement due to the down stuffing alongside the zipper, which I respect more than taking the coat and cutting it up … and then not being able to replace the zipper. I will keep looking. No hard feelings towards this business. Sad that Schawn’s dry cleaner and tailor is seemingly closed.):

I have had boots reheeled and mended and jeans hemmed here. Always a good job at a reasonable price. She even preserved the "distressed look" on the hem of one pair of jeans.
