UCHealth Primary Care is known for its excellent and attentive staff, who provide great explanations and are patient in understanding treatment choices. Wait times are minimal, and facilities are modern. While occasionally a new staff member may require adjustment, the overall experience is positive, with compassionate and helpful providers, including nurse practitioners, who make patients feel seen and heard.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Kate Johnson today, and I’ve never felt more heard or supported by a primary care provider. She took the time to listen to my full history, asked thoughtful questions, and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed. I came in overwhelmed with several health issues, and she addressed each one with patience, clarity, and genuine compassion.
Dr. Johnson helped me understand what was happening with my symptoms and immediately created a plan that included referrals, testing, and medications that actually make sense for my situation. She took my concerns seriously and made me feel like a real partner in my care.
