TL;DR: Katie is PHENOMENAL, and if you’re even half way considering voice lessons, you’d be doing yourself a massive disservice by not working with her.
Growing up, I always got told I had my dad’s voice. He always got razzed that he was tone deaf, and got kicked out of choir class in 2nd grade for “goofing around” but he legit just really couldn’t sing.

I have been singing (untrained) and writing songs for years and years when I finally got fed up with how inconsistent my singing always was. I searched all over online for local teachers, but ended up just going with my gut and gave The Vocal Fix a try. Trust your gut people! In just a few short weeks I knew I had made the right decision. Being able to learn/work on singing my own songs (and bring my guitar) was exactly what I was looking for in a teacher. No longer the embarrassment of Karaoke Night!!
Katie is a phenomenal voice coach. She’s a pro singer herself who really knows her stuff. I was shocked by how much improvement I was able to get in just one session, from posture fixes to handy exercises, she’s an excellent teacher. Can’t recommend highly enough!
