Golden Vision Clinic : Samuel J. Baron, OD

I have been going to golden vision for years. Since DR Barron left the practice has gone down hill the new doctors aren’t worthy price they charge and half of there staff is only interested in upselling you. The girls in the glasses department are amazing and I have no problem just going back to get my glasses made there but I will not be going back for my eye care.

I am Presently a new Patient with Golden Vision Clinic and I have been waiting months , for them to apply my Medicare insurance through united healthcare, for my “ Medically necessary”Contacts.. Medicare has approved full coverage the-last 3 years and my Medicare in 2026 has THE same coverage for “ Medically necessary Contacts ” at 100%.. I Informed.. golden vision clinic after talking
With United healthcare , That my contacts are 100% covered by my Medicare insurance.! Golden Vision Clinic responded” we don’t do that “! !!!!! my insurance has been approving these contacts for years, but “ our office doesn’t file with Medicare ? Golden Vision Clinic is in network,????? this blew my mind . Also I have been waiting four days for a response from Dr, Rachel concerning a severely scratch cornea…… I have called multiple times, Still no response.. my heart breaks for this understaffed office .

Trying to schedule, the lady was BEYOND rude.

Always a great experience at Golden Vision Clinic. I’ve been going to them for years and they are always professional, efficient, and kind. Never had any problems with appointments, contacts, glasses, you name it! I’ve seen several doctors here and the whole staff is wonderful!

I feel I get excellent care. No rush, all questions answered.
