Matt and the entire team at Sit Means Sit (Connor and Justin!) have been amazing in supporting us and our newly adopted pup, Finn. My partner and I adopted Finn in January 2026 at the age of 1, and he had already established some pretty difficult behaviors as a result of being shuttled around from shelter to shelter without proper training and structure (ex: extreme leash reactivity, leash pulling, playing too rough with other dogs, shying away from his face being touched, etc.). Our dog, Apache, has always had some anxiety issues on top of a serious case of selective hearing, which has made training difficult for us. After exhausting all of our options, we decided to put him into the 10 day boarding and training program. JoJo our 7 month old Belgian Malinois went to 10 day board training with Sit Means Sit. Matthew did an amazing job training JoJo. We were considering rehoming her before the training, I am so glad we didn't. Now we have the tools to take JoJo out to Hammers Rugby games and she heels with hands free long line and is a pleasure for all those around her. I especially appreciated the follow up training sessions and group class offering.
