Dr. West has cared for 2 of our cats so far, and has been thorough, knowledgable and empathetic both times. The 1st cat he saw only once when we first moved to town, only to tell us the cat was at the end of his life (we knew he had worsening kidney disease but didn't realize it was at that point), and both Dr. West & the staff were so compassionate and helpful. Our 2nd cat is a 17-year old who needed serious dental work, and he walked us thru all the risks and procedures and made sure we were comfortable with what was going to happen. I wouldn't trust my cats with any other clinic. Paws 'N Claws has always been so kind and accommodating, and it is obvious that the people here do what they do because they love animals. They have been there for us for the absolute worst moments and for the absolute best. They have always been supportive and patient and caring of not only our pets but of myself and my partner as well. I wish I could give them more stars, because they are the best of the best.
This is the smiling face of my dog at the vet. She leaps out of the car and wags her tail during nearly the entire visit. The treats probably have something to do with it, but we love Dr. Shram, Dr. West, and ALL the staff. When we’ve had medical and behavior concerns, they’ve been very attentive.
