About Grandview Cemetery Office
Grandview Cemetery Office is a well-preserved and beautiful cemetery with many trees that block out road sounds, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Visitors enjoy walking and relaxing there, especially in fall when the changing leaves add vibrant colors. The cemetery offers scenic views, including a nearby golf course, and is accessible from Estes Park. However, some concerns include people riding bikes over unmarked graves and exiting at the NW corner, which can damage the grounds. Additionally, the kiosk is often broken, and there is a warning about carefully checking engravings on memorials, as mistakes like lowercase letters cannot be changed.
This cemetery is frequented as much or even greatest numbers of walkers/runners as by visitors paying their respects to those buried here. An interesting dynamic for sure and exercising here is tolerated assuming guests are staying on the gravel paths and are quiet. Probably not best to exercise close to where an active service is happening. Outside of the office, which is staffed by an attendant at select times, there is a display monitor where you can type in the name of the person buried here if you don’t know the exact location.
Cemetery is nice, my concern is people are riding their bikes over unmarked graves and exiting the NW corner at Taft & Laporte. This is starting to look like the Oregon trail. Hopefully it's not over your loved ones grave. Kiosk is broke again as of 4/25/23
From an avid cemetery goer, this cemetery is one of the best preserved I've ever seen. So beautiful. So many trees that blocks out the road sounds. Golf course next to it if you want to take a whack at it. Driving in from Estes Park you are greeted with a gorgeous view of this cemetery that goes on for a while. Walked around here for a long while, May have even napped against a tree because it was so calming. Fall is prime time to come here because of all the color changing leaves. Really brings this place to life.
