I had a really bad experience at a dentist (my ex-FIL) in CA when I was 19. It made me a really bad gagger especially at the dental office. I have tried two other offices in Fort Collins (Ray and Humbert) and I would not recommend either for multiple reasons.. Zero compassion for my anxiety issues.
Holmes Dental has been so kind, understanding, compassionate regarding my issues and gave me little breaks while having 5 cavities filled today. I cannot recommend them enough! They are all just wonderful human beings!

For over 15 years, I have had the worst experiences with dentists regarding a troublesome crown I had. It was botched over and over again, by several different dentists. So, I was extremely apprehensive to try another new dentist. However, another broken crown left me no other choice. I hit gold finding Alpine Dental Health (West Drake Road).

Dr. Cowden has the best welcoming and understanding bedside manner of any dentist that I have had, during my adult years. He was extremely understanding of the negative experiences I had with previous dentists. During our first exam, he immediately put me at ease. For the first time in over a decade, I have a crown that looks and feels like an actual tooth!

“I have been seeing Dr. Tucker for decades. He's an excellent dentist; I've had a number of cavities over the years, a root canal, and several extractions in preparation for braces. The worst part of those procedures was just getting the shot of novocaine! His hygienists are also excellent - very gentile and thorough. Insurance authorizations and billing are always accurate. Everyone I've interacted with in his office has been a delight. Despite now being out of network after I took a new job, I continued going to Dr. Tucker because his work is to notch, and you can trust he won't recommend work you don't need. Frankly, it's worth paying out of network rates for someone so skilled!“

“I've just had my third crown in as many weeks. Beginning June 6, this year, I've averaged a crown a month for the last six months. Dr. Murphy is a quick, skilled, exceptional dentist, who gets in and gets out, much like the Lone Ranger. Seriously. On top of that, the cost of the crowns is more than in line with today's standards. I can not believe how (relatively) painless the procedures were. The first injections, of course, "pinched", as Dr. Murphy said. After that, it was gravy. In and out. LOVE this dentist!“
