About University Internal Medicine
University Internal Medicine is praised for its friendly staff and knowledgeable providers. Patients appreciate the thorough explanations and comfort provided during appointments. The clinic is well-maintained, with on-site lab and pharmacy services. Many have had positive experiences with their doctors, who are attentive and responsive to messages. However, some patients note that wait times can be long, even with scheduled appointments. Overall, it is a recommended choice for those seeking quality internal medicine care, though potential patients should be aware of the possibility of longer wait times and billing considerations due to its affiliation with a hospital system.
I had an appointment with Deb Machado, CNM. She was great! I love how she explained everything to me, she made me feel comfortable. And also, the front desk were super friendly, and explained everything that I was signing. If you're looking for a gynecologist clinic/spot, I highly recommend this place.
Love my doctors here. He is very good. Checks his messages often and gets back to me quickly. If I spend a message about a concern he will even call me back if needed. He takes his time with me. Unfortunately he is not taking new patients as only in the office 2 days most weeks anymore. I have been seeing him for something like 2 decades or more.
This is where I see my PCP a couple of times a year, including the annual physical exam. I have had no issues with my doctor's appointments so far. The clinic is clean and well maintained. There is a lab that fulfils blood work orders and an imaging lab as well. And there is a pharmacy on-site too if you prefer to save a trip to pick up your prescribed medication. One drawback is that the wait can be long at times (despite having an appointment and having arrived on time); the providers are often behind schedule. This clinic is part of a hospital system, so the expectation on the bills should be adjusted "accordingly".
