My entire family has been going to Matthew Morris on South Broadway since November 2023, and I have to say that we have been so well cared for by the entire staff. This review is especially for Allison Beck. I first found out about Allison's highly recommended work through asking around, and extensive research after having a few not so great experiences at other salons in the past. Allison, quickly changed the narrative to an extreme positive when it comes to our hair care experiences. Allison carefully listens to her clients concerns, addresses their needs, and puts her own thoughtful spin on the final outcome in ways that exceed expectations. In my case, I required long extensions while desiring to bring my hair to a beautiful shade of red. Many stylists wouldn't attempt the shade of red I wanted, but Allison has a quiet professional confidence and skill set which manifested the gorgeous red hair of my dreams. Not only that, but every stylist I've ever met has been intimidated by cutting my husband's thick hair. Allison is the only stylist I've ever met who addressed my husband's concerns, and made him look like a million dollars. Her grace and humor, have endeared her to my children as well. Both kids now look forward to visiting Allison to get their hair cut and colored. I could go on forever, but needless to say, Allison is a dream. I just wish there were a 10 star rating, because Allison's willingness to go above and beyond for our family - deserves 10 stars for sure. I don't think I've ever met a stylist who embodies so much pride and fun in her work. All we can say now is: thank you so much to Allison, and the entire staff at Matthew Morris for taking such great care of our family. We will be loyal clients for years to come.
I followed Janelle here from another salon and have been with her for almost 3 years now. She’s the only stylist that has ever been able to get my color PERFECT! She’s consistent and if I want to change my color or style up a bit, she takes the time to listen and fully understand what I want. I’ve never been so happy with my hair and constantly get compliments on it. Not only that, but I always have fun with her at my appointment! The salon itself is amazing with so many talented and creative stylists.
I followed Erin here from a different salon. She is amazing with pixie cuts and the past several months we've been working on a pixie mullet which I am so happy with! She is so fun and easy to talk to and I always look forward to catching up during our appointments. :) This salon is a great space, great location with ample parking and everyone is really sweet.
