We started the task of looking for a company to either stain or paint the brick exterior of our house over the summer. We received quotes and consultations from numerous companies but Homestar Painting stuck out - Michael with Homestar came out to our house and thoroughly explained his processes and what would work best for our house and the brick - more detailed than any of the other companies we looked into. I had estimates from three painting companies. Two were finalists. I chose Homestar Painting because while both finalist companies were detailed in their bidding, Michael was very precise and forthright in answering our questions, and his pricing was competitive and fair. I've worked with enough contractors to know that set backs happen. It is not unusual. My painting was delayed by a week, but because I had landscapers coming at the end of the week when Homestar was to start painting, Al, the owner and lead painter, and another crew member came out on a Sunday afternoon to power wash the house so that they would be able to finish in the time designated.
