Wesley is a big guy, so you would think he would be strong, but he was out of breath massaging my shoulders. He ended up creating knots instead of removing them with his technique. I've experienced some of the same techniques he used at other hand and stone locations and other spas, but he just didn't do them right. I also said I wanted firm pressure, but in my opinion the massage wasn't firm at all. They also want to charge $20 now for deep tissue when it used to be a free pressure option, which is what I expect by default when I'm paying $80+ for a 50 minute massage. Randy Romero (not to be confused w the other Randy I guess) has the magic combo one only finds once in a while— someone who is clearly an EXPERT in their chosen field, and someone who is in the perfect right career for them and loves what they do. Massages are such a dice roll and I’ve had some really bad ones. Randy was super communicative, respectful, professional, and very intuitive of what I needed and was comfortable with. Massaging is a skill and is its own thing, but in addition to expert massage skills, Randy had the sixth sense—and clearly is a people person! While visiting Denver for a work trip I was in so much pain from my neck to my back. I had gone to the chiropractor with no relief so I figured I’d give this place a try. Randy was my massage therapist and hands down the best massage ive ever had. He tailored it to exactly what I needed. I had no expectations, but I feel amazing today. I really didn’t expect to feel this good and I am so thankful I gave this place a try!
