Although I did like the haircut I received, I was upcharged $50 for having “extra think hair” even though the appointment didn’t run over on time. I am writing this review after some time has passed, because I vowed I would never write a rage review. however, I do feel that I was taken advantage of. When I called for an appointment I asked if I should book extra time as I have been scolded by other stylist to make sure to book extra time, and was informed that there would be ample time for my hair type, opportunity #1 to mention that there could be an up charge. Then when discussing my hair goals he says “wow you do have a lot of hair” but never mentions the fee. Opportunity #2. The cut was good and I was happy, and it was finished within the appointment window. Finally when checking out, paying a 20% tip in cash + buying product he says “btw we charge $50 extra for thick hair like yours” I was shocked and embarrassed. I paid the fee and the tip and one bottle of gel and it came out to $250. Honestly I’m bummed because if I had been warned I probably would have come or at least not felt taken advantage of. I just hope that they can make sure that they discuss with folks their policies, and don’t make it seem like a punishment for something they can’t control. I would totally have understood if we had gone over on time but it really seemed unfair and uncomfortable. 😩

Definitely recommend it here! I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they cut it exactly like it. Sadie is a great stylist and shows you how to style your hair step by step.
