I had set up home health 5 days before getting out of the hospital. I am a health care worker and our clinic recommends Bayada for many of our patients for PT,OT, ADLS. The patients at our clinic really like them so for me there was no question who I chose for my home health. The intake nurse came day after I was home and helped me talk about what i needed ect. I was unable to get around easily as I had a emergency surgery and had quite a few acute issues. The intake nurse did not set up for an LPN or Nurse to come and assist me on the days that followed that initial visit. So I had to call and wait for a call back. Horrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Nothing but a staffing agency. No one contacted us from the main office, we just started getting calls from care givers without any forewarning. We had no idea who these people were. Some didn't speak articulate English and one of the specialist was supposed to be a speech therapist. These people would call late in the evening to tell us they would be by the next morning, not ask, tell. Just a scam to rip off insurance companies. We never received any credentials for any of the therapist. Stay away........
