The staff at this organization are extremely rude and unprofessional. I pulled over in front of the bluiding for a quick second and the staff started to curse at me telling me to move.

We are trying to put my MIL to rest and this was the crematorium that the funeral services were going to use. We'll things got delayed as Ballard is having legal issues and the coroner would not release her body to them. Terrible experience!

If I could give Ballard Family Mortuary a negative star I would. In November my husband & I lost our young daughter. Our family used Ballards for my aunt's funeral service in the past, so my sister asked Ballards to pick up our daughter. She passed on Friday morning, & my husband & I flew in during the evening, & we're not able to see our baby because they were closed until Monday. After waiting all weekend we decided to not used Ballards. When we asked for our daughter to be transferred Mr. Ballard was combative, and tried to double the price of transport, & refused to let us see our baby, and was clearly angry that we didn't use his mortuary. I was appalled at how disrespectful we were treated during the worst time of our lives. He charged us $625, for the initial transport, which was quoted then tried to charge $1,100. Absolutely disgusting, beware!!!!

Had a loved ones funeral there and they had several people's ashes all over chairs In lobby no privacy for those families also coffins as you walk in those should be in a private room no privacy for loved ones or respect for those families hopefully this review will help improve this.

I am deeply displeased at the services provided by Ballard funeral home. I agree with previous reviews that this company is unprofessional, unethical, and indecent. They managed the funerary rites of the matriarch of our family. The night prior to the funeral, a family viewing was scheduled for 6PM. The owner/director allowed approximately 20 minutes for all of us to view the body in pairs then kicked us out, literally saying, "Y'all gotta get out so I can go eat leftovers." The next day he made crass jokes the entire day, completing ignoring the grieving taking place at the church. The most egregious act being him stopping, with our relative's body in the hearse, at a 7Eleven on the way to the cemetery to get a free hot dog....all while the family processed in our vehicles behind him to the cemetery!! He then returned to the church with us to get another free meal, going so far as to ask the church members if he had to wait for the family to eat first. I assume older people embody a certain wisdom and elegance. Not Ballard. My family and I have never been so disrespected at such a vulnerable time. If you care about respect for your loved ones, your grieving process, and your sanity during such vulnerable times stay far, far away from this company. If I could give negative stars I would. I am grateful for those who had positive experiences. Unfortunately that was not the case for our family.

He left dried blood on our relative's clothing and fingers. We Brought this to his attention and he only folded the sleeves the next day for the services as a "solution". He also was resistant to removing her lipstick when we as a family requested numerous times that she not wear lipstick because she never did so in life. He insisted that his opinion supersede our knowledge and lived experience with our loved one.
