I didn't know what to expect but my daughter loves trolleys so we stopped in. The museum part is small but a local historian gives you the history of the building and local trolleys. Following that is a tour of their shop and in process restorations as well as the trolleys outside. The tour finishes with a short ride in a working trolley on their test track. Pleasantly surprised.
Absolutely the highlight of our trip to Colorado Springs. So much fun for any train fan. Lots of hands-on for the kids and just the right amount of history for everyone.

We had an AMAZING two year old birthday party experience here! They set you up in a real trolley car if the weather permits (pictured in my review photos, it was very clean and had lots of space). The party also includes an optional tour of the museum and trolley ride! The volunteers are passionate, knowledgable, and kind. I would highly, highly recommend the museum and birthday party experience!
