“Rachelle is a very good stylist. I have long, so-silky-it's-slippery hair made up of lots of very fine strands, and it doesn't hold a curl more than an hour before it relaxes into a slight wave and eventually dissappears altogether. I have always had a hard time finding stylists whenever I move somewhere new.

Rachelle has been very good with my hair, and with my daughter's, too, and hers is naturally wavy, thick, and medium-coarse; totally different from mine.

She does dry cuts, which is great for people who experience pain when using the shampoo bowl. My layered cuts aren't complicated, but she's done in about 15 minutes which seems very, very fast.

She is also very flexible. My (and my daughter's) last haircuts were on New Year's Day. It was a function of her having plans on a different day and a faithful client with regular appointments wanting to keep hers on the Thursday. (That client was not me. I just benefited from it. It was a nice surprise.) I'm not saying she will do that again, but it's pretty obvious she appreciates her customers.

I met Rachelle at a different salon about 3 (4?) years ago and followed her to Gl'amor. I hope she never leaves the area. (I just jinxed that, didn't I? My next appointment is tomorrow and if I learn she won't be available anymore ... lol.)“
