I love how good of a job Ina, her daughter Zeinab, and sister did. They all worked on my head at the same time to get the braids done as quickly as possible. I felt like such a goddess!!! Super tight and beautiful!!! Love the size of the braids! Love the curls they did on the ends of the braids!! Most of all, I love that they never make me feel weird or out of place for being a white girl wearing African hairstyles. I can’t imagine going to another hairstylist at this point. “I come in to do my hair every five weeks and see the owner for myself and my daughter. I have been coming to Brekk for over 15 years. Brekk has always done quality/affordable work. She has done everything from cuts to color. From dark to blonde, back to dark, back to blonde, including highlights, balayage, etc. Brekk always advises on how my requests will affect my hair. For example, when I want to go from very dark to light she refuses to do it all at once so she doesn't damage my hair. I trust Brekk with my hair so much, that in many cases I walk in, she asks what I want to do this time and I defer to Brekk to help me decide what will work best for my hair. 15 years ago, my hair was very different than it is today. Today I have more grays and my hair is naturally dryer. When I walk out it is moisturized, and feels amazing!

The only downside I can say is you so have to schedule your appointments a couple of appointments in advance because she books so fast. If you miss your appointment it can be difficult to find another upcoming slot that's not too far out.“

“I get compliments on my braids all the time! I got waist length knotless. Agnes blended two colors to match my hair color. Braids are not tight. Each braid is Flawless. They still look perfect after almost 8 weeks. If it wasn't for this pesky new growth, I wouldn't take them out! The shop was clean and welcoming. Braiders were nice. We talked and laughed while watching Love is Blind. My hair was not cheap, but great investment for weeks of convenience, quality work many and options for versatile looks.“
