“Mira did a great job! I showed her some inspiration fotos and she communicated really clearly throughout the whole process. I really enjoyed her company the whole time, and we had a really interesting conversation. My hair looks and feels great and it's fun to try out a new style. She really knows here stuff!“

The stylist who fixed my hair did an absolutely amazing job. The whole process took around 2.5–3 hours, and she was so professional, patient, and talented. My color correction was quoted around $300, and honestly, for how bad my hair was and the amount of work it took to fix it, that was beyond fair pricing.

The salon itself is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and professional. I also found out they offer lash extensions, body waxing, and hair extensions too, which makes it such a convenient one stop beauty spot.

If you’re looking for a salon where women truly support women, where you feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of while still getting affordable pricing, I highly recommend checking them out. Everyone there does fantastic work, and I’m so happy I trusted them with fixing my hair!“

“Eric has been cutting my hair and my husband‘s hair for 2 1/2 years. We have been very happy with his services and his prices. My husband has very difficult hair to cut as it grows in different directions and most stylists are not able to consistently give him a quality haircut. With Eric, he gets a high-quality haircut every time. I have long hair that is very straight and fine. I like to trim my hair every four months or so to keep it healthy. Eric is the first stylist I found who will actually take off only 1/3 of an inch when I say “please only take off 1/3 of an inch.” Stylist after stylist for years would say that’s what they would do, and two or 3 inches of hair later, I don’t go back. Eric is also really great with howhe layers my hair. Because my hair is so straight and smooth it needs to have some layers, but I don’t want it all chopped up. If my hair isn’t cut right it sticks out like a sore thumb. I never have to worry about that with Eric. We highly recommend him.“

“I had done two sew in wefts with Ina before deciding to try the micros/ box braids for the first time. I absolutely loveeeee my braids. I love how good of a job Ina, her daughter Zeinab, and sister did. They all worked on my head at the same time to get the braids done as quickly as possible. I felt like such a goddess!!! Super tight and beautiful!!! Love the size of the braids! Love the curls they did on the ends of the braids!! Most of all, I love that they never make me feel weird or out of place for being a white girl wearing African hairstyles. I can’t imagine going to another hairstylist at this point. Ina and her family have won my heart ? Highly recommend“

“I come in to do my hair every five weeks and see the owner for myself and my daughter. I have been coming to Brekk for over 15 years. Brekk has always done quality/affordable work. She has done everything from cuts to color. From dark to blonde, back to dark, back to blonde, including highlights, balayage, etc. Brekk always advises on how my requests will affect my hair. For example, when I want to go from very dark to light she refuses to do it all at once so she doesn't damage my hair. I trust Brekk with my hair so much, that in many cases I walk in, she asks what I want to do this time and I defer to Brekk to help me decide what will work best for my hair. 15 years ago, my hair was very different than it is today. Today I have more grays and my hair is naturally dryer. When I walk out it is moisturized, and feels amazing!

The only downside I can say is you so have to schedule your appointments a couple of appointments in advance because she books so fast. If you miss your appointment it can be difficult to find another upcoming slot that's not too far out.“
