SHMKF is a true Kung Fu training academy. It is place to not only practice the martial art of Kung Fu, but to experience growth through self-discipline, physical fitness and mental acuity. As I have continued with my Kung Fu practice at Shaolin Hung Mei, I have noticed myself having more resolve to make solid decisions in my business and personal life in parallel with my progress in my Kung Fu practice and for that I am deeply grateful to the school. SHMKF is a place for people who are ready to challenge themselves in all aspects of their life and to keep growing as a person.

I am a mom who has been practicing for a few years with my daughter. This has been a special opportunity for my daughter and me to share an experience and grow and learn together. As a parent, I value the discipline and adherence to tradition. As a woman and mother who is not very tall or big, I am learning how to leverage my body mechanics and size in my practice, and I feel more confidence and security for myself and my teen daughter. I am also very impressed by the dedication of my instructors and classmates who have commited to learning an art that is both physically and mentally challenging.
