The team at Cottonwood were fantastic. In the end, the project did take a bit longer and was a bit more expensive than we had hoped, but the truth is that Cottonwood was great to work with. They cared about details, cared about us as people, and we will absolutely work with them again in the future on any home renovations or building needs that we have.
I used Cottonwood to rebuild after my home was destroyed by the Marshall Fire. Together we built a home that is energy and water efficient, fire resilient and age in place ready. It was recently certified as meeting PHIUS PassiveHouse standards. Throughout the build they were resposive and paid impressive attention to fit and finish.
We write to recommend Cottonwood Custom Builders with enthusiasm and without reservation. They undertook the difficult task of restoring our house after it suffered pervasive damage from water exposure. Working with Chris Sommers and Calvin Yee was a real pleasure. They explained everything that needed to be done in ways that we could understand and were responsive to all our questions and concerns throughout the 5-month process. They provided supervision of all subcontractors and saw to it that Cottonwood’s high standards were met. We are extremely pleased with the restoration and the entire outcome!
