Horrible experince with this firm from the start to the end. even trying to get service has been a nightmare. from it will start at $600.00 for a system they installed to $200.00 per hour after that with no idea of how long or anything else. When the sales person talked about the tax credits he makes it sounds like you are gonig to get a check from the governemnt which you dont. Very horrible somany and do yourself a favor steer clear from this one.
Our experience with Westhaven Power *** Seven page letter sent to owner with details that will not fit in this review. CONSUMER BEWARE!!! Contract signed 7/17/2023 Why we wanted solar was to be free from PG&E as much as possible with solar power. Why we chose Westhaven Power - We were gullible to their promises and sales pitch. What we can say to anyone considering this company for their solar need or desire... Question everything and research everything they promise before signing anything! Given six to eight week completion... August 3, 2023, Powerwall installed. Permission to export did not happen until December 14, 2024, due to Westhaven Power lack of completion and follow through. The installers we had were phenomenal. I wish I could name all of them. Our interaction with them was minimal. They were respectful of our property, making sure all items were picked up, disposed of and removed. They were awesome! Scheduling: Consideration of the homeowner schedule is ignored. Being given start times and then installers showing up 8 hours earlier than scheduled. Westhaven Power likes to communicate via text instead of having a professional understanding of real conversations and how important they are. Project coordinators are outsourced to another country and although they are available to speak with texting seems to be their preference. Multiple requests must be made for assistance or help understanding of processes or problems that were initiated by the "team" of this company. Not one resolution has been made. In those five months Westhaven Power has proven to lack the ability to provide adequate customer service and communication. They are not able to give support in areas they claim, and they have shown follow-through and fluidity is not a strong aspect of their business model. There are many solar companies that I am positive would not have caused the grief and stress of working with Westhaven Power.
The salesman lie about tax refunds and what the system will do but just remember you still have your house they burnt mine down not hooking it up right and their contracts make it where you have to go to arbitration not court so they can get out of whatever they want
