Overall, I had a great experience in the emergency room and once admitted all was good. The staff were very kind and charismatic, and the surgical team was excellent. My only negative experience was with the recovery room process which is why I'm leaving 1 star.

After surgery, I was allowed to sleep for about an hour. As soon as I woke up, I told the nurse that I was not okay and was in severe pain. Despite expressing how I felt, I was told I was fine and was going to leave because they had several other similar procedures that day and the pain was “normal” not enough to let me stay longer. I called and requested an inquiry for walk in cash instead. The front desk never came back to me about my inquiry. They had 16 days to get back to me but never did. If you don't have insurance, they'll treat you lesser. Disgusting. I went to a doctor who doesn't discriminate as this one has treated me.

My visit with Nurse Practitioner Marian Roethler was fantastic. The poor review is not for the care I received in the hands of the medical professional. The care I received from Nurse Roethler was top notch. The administrative team at the Specialty Care office at Woodland Dignity Health is absolutely abysmal. I have been battling with them for 4 months. I have had to call nearly a dozen times to check on the status of things. They continue to not submit the pre-authorization documents that they needed to submit, they blatantly lied right to my face on more than one occasion, they were never apologetic, they made no attempts whatsoever to correct any of their mistakes...read full review
