We recently hired Cal First Builders to help us repair/renovate a bathroom and kitchen at one of our rental units. Simon was amazing to work with across the entire process, even when we were encumbered by some stressful issues with our local LA County Bldg & Safety inspector, which had nothing to do with Simon or his team's work. Simon and his crew remained dedicated to helping us navigate everything and did incredible work at every stage of the job. Cal First Builders will be my go-to contractor from here on out. They have repaired termite damage and slumping stucco, then repainted the entire exterior. My neighbours all compliment me on how nice the house looks. They also partially replaced a crumbling concrete wall in my basement, and installed an elaborate drain system in my backyard. Then they partially replaced my roof. All work was completed perfectly, sub-contractors were helpful and courteous, and many little extra fix-it jobs were tackled along the way.
