But when I moved to Long Beach I tried THREE different salons with really mixed results (mediocre cuts, burned scalp, questionable dye jobs). Then I found Travis Hite. Besides being a wonderful human, he is one of the BEST stylists I have ever experienced. He is an Artist! He's incredibly precise, knows his s**** and I ALWAYS LOVE the results. I can also rely on him to help keep me on trend and not let me get stuck in a look. For me, one of the main signs of a great stylist is how well their cuts grow out. Don't know how he does it, but my cut retains the crispness & shape through months of new growth. And, I felt totally safe because his Covid precautions (outlined on his website) are exemplary.“

Miko is knowledgeable, kind and professional, not to mention a perfectionist. This was my first time getting this particular method of hair extensions and it was worth all the money and time! My scalp felt sensitive for a day or two after but that is to be expected. Her salon is very chic and yet modern. The decor and the vibes on point. Everyone in there were super sweet and courteous. “Rena and her team were so amazing on our wedding day, and she is a true artist when it comes to hair and makeup!! We used Bright Crystal for our wedding day on 10/21/23 at Neighborhood Church and La Venta. We were all staying at Terranea, which Rena has a lot of experience doing for weddings and her and her team have their system down pat! Rena also actually did the hair and makeup for my older sisters wedding and we all loved our hair and makeup so much that I wanted her back for my wedding ? The HUA artists for BCM arrived early (at 6:45 AM) and kept us on schedule all morning, as well as executed all of the looks that all my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law and grandmas wanted to perfection - they also were great to be around the morning of and so professional. They were happy to do tweaks for the bridesmaids who just wanted to implement a few changes, as well as did touch ups before everyone before the wedding. Everyone raved about their hair and my grandmas felt so beautiful Rena also made me look exactly how I’ve wanted to as a bride on my wedding day…natural, beautiful, modern, radiant, and like myself. I wouldn’t recommend any other HUA vendor for your wedding!! She’s especially amazing with Asian hair and makeup because I feel like some HUA artists struggle with Asian skin tone and hair, so it felt really great to have someone I was confident understood the look I was going for and is so talented ? From the trial we did a couple of months beforehand and the wedding day, my whole experience with Rena and her team was seamless and I’m so glad she was part of our wedding day!
