I had a wonderful experience with New Concepts by Halo from my initial inquiry to the moment we stepped out. Sarah greeted me and my daughters (2 and 7) warmly and eased my anxieties about doing a cut and color with the two little ones in tow. Not only did Sarahi do an INCREDIBLE job, she was so kind and comforting (I was feeling really embarrassed about the state of my hair because I've been cutting and dying it myself for years). She evened out my color, covered by grays, fixed my bangs, and totally honored my request to keep things low-maintenance. I came in with hair that's been bleached, permed, and recently box dyed dark brown. I was reaching out to many salon and some turned me down because of how damaged it was, while others were charging me around 400$ to go lighter. When I reached out to New Concepts by Halo, they didn't guarantee that they could get me lighter but they were willing to see after I came in a for a test strand. They also gave me an estimated quote which was pretty much half the price of all the other salons I consulted with, so I decided to go and do my test strand at this place despite having to drive 30 min there. Decided to get a short haircut with Berenice and she did a wonderful job! I love my new hair, she took her time and made sure it was the length I wanted and when I asked for a suggestion she gave her opinion on what would look better. Will definitely be returning when I need another cut.
