I’ve tried a lot of wellness spots, and this one truly stands out. The infrared sauna melts away stress, the cold plunge is the perfect invigorating contrast, and the red light therapy adds that extra layer of recovery and glow. It’s the kind of place you walk out of feeling like a completely better version of yourself. The space is beautiful, clean, and the team is so kind. I’ve already sent so many people here, couldn’t recommend more.

This review concerns both LIV and their previous sister establishment Calmdown Nail Spa. Calmdown Nail Spa suddenly shutdown in January. I had booked a service but was mistakenly charged for a membership, a membership which offered services both from Calmdown Nail Spa and LIV. I contacted Felicia multiple times to have this mistake corrected since I never intended to sign up for said membership. Instead 3 months later I still am getting charged and working it out with my credit card company. Felicia will claim to resolve this issue yet the charges have continued! She couldn't 'fix it' in 3 months so I wouldn't keep getting charged 189 dollars for a business she's closed and a sister establishment I've never went to. Anyway LIV services were apart of the membership and you are equally culpable for a resolution. TLDR; Don't trust these people with your card info or you'll live to regret it!

Interior design needs some love, the floors throughout the space and in the cold plunge room look like the inside of an abandoned building. The cold plunge itself is very cold (which is great) but size wise kinda small, you won’t be stretching your legs out while sitting unless you’re 5’5” or shorter, I’m 5’10”. The shower didn’t function properly which made it difficult to take a shower. They give you one towel but if you decide to come here I suggest you bring your own, plus some slides for your feet. I can’t speak to the sauna experience because I didn’t want to try it. The guy at the front desk was friendly.

Wow…I have been coming now to LIV since last summer and have been incredibly pleased with the results of regular Sauna and cold plunge each week. It is now almost June coming up on a year…I truly sleep better, have lost around an inch in my waist, and my skin/pores/hair have really benefited as well. This business is family run and it shows…lots of attention to all of us to make sure we are happy and taken care of. Run..don’t walk to LIV Sauna..the best “Bake and Shake” in Los Angeles!

I was really excited to try this sauna and cold plunge facility, and the peaceful vibe and kind staff were a great start. It’s a lovely concept with a lot of potential for true relaxation and recovery.
That said, there are a few things I wish I had known in advance. The sauna and cold plunge are in separate rooms and can’t be used consecutively, which breaks up the flow and makes it hard to build momentum with contrast therapy. You’re required to shower before the cold plunge.
The facilities themselves are on the smaller side and could use some attention. The shower was not particularly clean, and there were no slides or robe options. I was given one towel that didn’t fully fit my body, so I ended up barefoot and a bit uncomfortable out in the open walking to the cold plunge, which is the opposite of how I want to feel during a wellness treatment.
If you go, I recommend bringing your own slides and a larger towel if you are tall or curvier to help you feel more at ease.
With a few thoughtful upgrades, this could be a standout space. I hope to see it continue to grow into the relaxing destination it’s meant to be.

Just started coming here and I really really enjoy it. Staff is super friendly and the rooms are all clean. The infrared saunas are very clean and very effective. The cold plunges are cold, lol, seriously cold. Looking forward to more sessions! Thanks guys.

This place is amazing 🤩 from the service, to the location and amenities it’s phenomenal. There are no gimmicks, it is exactly what is advertised, Infrared Saunas and cold plunges. You can come in and out feeling like a new person, and greeted kindly before and after. 10/10 recommend. I’ll be here A LOT
