I called today to make an appointment at the West Hills office. I was told that I HAVE to see the doctor via webcam first and then the doctor will decide if I should go in. WHAT?? I am confused what a doctor’s role is anymore. It used to be that you made an in office visit for an issue or sickness, the doctor would do a physical check, ask some questions, maybe do some lab tests and come up with a potential diagnosis. Is thst too much to expect nowadays? It seems to me that the intent is to double charge for the same issue, first for a web visit and then for a physical one. Worse place to come to trust for your health. My provider was changed to a new one, have no problem with that but from my old provider I still had refills for my medication for my thyroid problems but anyway when I call her refills they told me they could not refill that they were gonna call my new provider but my new provider does not want to prescribe me until he sees me which I understand but my appointment was for over a month from now And I have no medicatiand I was starting to get side effects for not taking the medication which included really bad headaches So I called to see if they can do blood work so that doctor could see where I'm at ... So this office is always loosing or changing doctors. Very hard to get consistent health advice from rotating doctors. Somehow they still have many patients as appointments are limited. The staff is a huge hit or miss. Some are kind and helpful and others should not be working in the customer service field and especially in the healthcare field. My personal experience which led to this post: My son went in for a doctor appointment after being in the ER over the weekend. When we arrived we were told he was seeing a nurse not a doctor. I specifically confirmed over the phone when making the appointment that it would be with a M.D. For some reason which I still don't understand...read full review
