“I think it was 1989, at the age of 47, when I started going to Dr. Larson DDS, Smile With Style. From the age of 11 I have always been a “white knuckle” dental patient!

From the very first visit I was impressed by Dr. Larson’s calm, quiet, gentle, and approachable nature. You are always informed of the what, why and how of procedure(s) necessary. Before a procedure commences you are provided a little hand held “clicker”, and informed that should you experience any discomfort just “click” to him know.

As for Dr. Larson’s staff, you will not meet more capable personnel. They are true professionals! They can answer your questions, offer suggestions and you will be greeted by name. Most have been with Dr. Larson for years.

I want to mention too that the offices of Smile With Style have state of the art equipment, offer music or television and is extremely clean and well layed out. It decorated and furnished in a manner that is soothing and calming. There is a great play area for the little ones as well.

Well, after all this being said, it took me a few years for my body to acknowledge that I didn’t have to “white knuckle” my visits. I could relax during my visit/procedures. As a matter of fact one time in the past 12 months, just as work being completed on a tooth I asked if I had fallen asleep. The answer was “yes you did.”

I couldn’t recommend Smile With Stiyle Drs. Larson and Hendrik, their techs and office staff more highly. I won’t go anywhere else!“

“In January of 2024 I moved to Glendora and needed a new dentist, especially since I have a history of dental issues (including an implant that needed to be redone). Luckily, I found Dr. Shehata and Glendora Healthy Smiles. I couldn't be more happy with the service they have provided me.

At my first check up she came up with a comprehensive plan to address the implant, a crown, two cavities and some deep cleaning on my gums. I was so appreciative that her and her staff were sympathetic to my financial situation. They helped me not only break up the plan into something manageable based upon my insurance, they also guided me towards applying for Care Credit to pay for the services at 0% interest when possible.

Recently, after having the permanent crown placed, I experienced incredible pain in the same area of the mouth. They allowed me to come in as an emergency to get it checked out. It turned out the tooth right next to the crown happened to be infected. They squeezed me in to see their endodonist, Dr. Sirjani (who happens to teach at USC), the very next day. I don't know what I would've done had they not gotten me in. I've had bad experiences with some dental specialists before (egos!) and Dr. Sirjani was a gem to be treated by.

For the implant Dr. Shehata uses an amazing periodontist named Dr. Mintafar. Her understanding of the history of the tooth and care to resolve my issue was magnificent. The journey to get that implant completed is now done. I finally have a full set of teeth again. If you need an experienced periodontist, ask for Dr. Mintafar.

Lastly, the staff is great. The assistants, Annita and Jacky, are warm and helpful and the office manager, Debbie, is a HOOT!

There's ample parking in the back, and I've never waited too long in the waiting room to be seen. Thank you, Dr. Shehata, for taking care of me. I look forward to finishing our plan in 2025!“

“Going to a Dentist was my biggest nightmare when I was little. I have had braces when I was 16 and I needed to visit my dentist and endured the pain every couple of weeks. As such, with this traumatized memory, I literally stop going to the dentist after I finished my braces . I reluctantly booked an appointment with Glendora Dental Group a month ago to clean up my accumulated tartar. I was extremely nervous as I haven't been visiting any dentist since I was little. However, the deep teeth cleaning performed by Dr. Chen was totally not what I had experience before. He did a wonderful job and his pleasantness creates zero pressure on me. The staff members were very friendly and scheduling for future appointment was a breeze! Dr. Chen isn't one of those traditional dentist whom I have stereotype on (i.e. harsh on people when knowing you're not brushing or flossing correctly, refrain you to eat sweet stuffs). Dr. Chen treats patient like he is your friend and the dental office makes me feel very relaxing, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend him.“
