I had a 16 Kw whole home Generac generator installed by Golden State Power Systems 5 years ago. The house is located on a steep hillside in close proximity to the neighbors house, so the install job was pretty complex running the gas pipeline up the hill. Two other contractors passed on the job because of the difficulty in transporting the generator down 55 stairs and installing a lengthy gas line. TJ and his crew were great and didn't balk at the complexity of the job. TJ is the consummate professional - knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I reside in the east bay and was in the market for a whole home generator to assist with frequently scheduled brown outs / general power outages. After receiving several in-home surveys + estimates from various companies (some majorly trying to up-sell me on their large cap generators) I decided to go with TJ. TJ was punctual, knowledgeable, not overly pushy, and his pricing was reasonable. I explained my needs and he supplied me with several options while explaining the pros and cons to each. TJ at pacific power was terrific. Not only did he come to my house and explain everything that we needed to install a generator, he was also able to get installed within 2 weeks if the estimate. He did everything he could to find a generator for us in record time. All his employees were respectful clean and very knowledgeable. Thank you for all the hard work.
