Kristine is fantastic - I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home. As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I had A LOT of questions, and Kristine made sure to help us every step of the way. She's very prompt with her responses, professional, and personable. The first time we met with her, we had a 1-hour meeting on a Friday afternoon. It turned into a 3 hour meeting because we had so many questions for her and she was more than happy to answer every one! When it came time to put an offer on a home, she was quick to act and offered very competitive services. She was even able to implement a 21-day close, which can be very appealing to sellers that are trying to move quickly. When we were ready to make an offer, she also provided a letter that demonstrated the strength of your pre-approval so that the sellers would have confidence that our finances would go through should they accept our offer. When it came time to sign the closing documents, Kristine met us at the Escrow office in case we had any questions while signing. Even the Escrow Officer commented that it is very rare that a loan officer would make time to go to the signing. Additionally, Kristine uses a neat online tool called the Mortgage Coach which she can use to customize various scenarios and combinations. She can input estimates for home prices, down-payment amounts, an estimated interest rate, etc. Then, the tool would allow us to see an estimated amount of the payments, such as the mortgage, closing costs, estimated tax savings, etc. While the amounts are meant to be close estimates, they ended up being within $20 of our actual mortgage payments. My husband and I felt much more comfortable after seeing what our monthly payments might be like. I plan to recommend Kristine to anyone I know who is looking for a home. I obviously can't say enough good things about her, but a home is the most important purchase we will ever make, and it's invaluable to have a trustworthy loan officer to walk you through the process.
