Terrible, terrible nail salon. Their prices are quite inflated for the service you receive. I got a gel pedicure and French builder gel manicure and was charged $170 in total for service that was finished in just over an hour, which means with tip I paid just about $200 for an hour and 10 minutes of subpar service, a ridiculous price. Both the manicure and pedicure felt incredibly rushed, with me having to point out issues, no checking that the nails were the same shape or length, no capped ends, small lumps being painted over instead of removed, and the builder gel was applied so thinly that my nails are soft and bending, which has never happened in my 3+ years of regular builder gel manicures. The ladies seemed rushed, always checking around the corner on their next client which seemed crazy for the fact that I’d been there less than an hour when they started rushing for their next clients. My pedicure was quoted at $65 on the sheet and I was charged $85 for a plain gel color. Builder gel nails were listed at $60-$70 and I was charged $85 for a haphazard French. There was no transparency about the costs. I’m not even certain they charged everyone the same for the same services. It felt like they were inflating prices to see what they could get away with. The salon is charging just under the prices of fancy Russian nail salons for less than a quarter of the service, in both time and quality. My cuticles are dry and flaky just a few hours later, and I have at least 3 cuts along the cuticle line. I won’t be returning.

***Updating to add that two weeks after this service, one of my nails tore halfway between the fingertip and the base. I’ve had hard gel on my natural nails for years and never had this happen. From the tear, I can see that my natural nail was SO thin in that area it was nearly nonexistent on the edge. No doubt from the rough and inattentive filing job.

The 3 stars is based more on the atmosphere and the mindfulness of Donna, the one who “made it right” for me.
Unfortunately, the missing 2 stars falls on the service providers I had, with the lack there of experience in her skills, not her professionalism or her kind disposition ( just a thought, if you have a new and perhaps maybe not as experienced service provider, don’t charge your customers the same price as a skilled provider)

Even after a small nudge to do my part to ensure I recieve the experience I hoped on getting, her response verbally and actually didn’t seem to matter I asserted myself.

I had to stop the service before the color started because my heals were still rough with dead skin. I expected with the recommendation from the greeting with the $60 pedicure and $20 gel my feet would feel like I paid for what I got.

Donna was a little reluctant to understand my circumstance in the beginning saying I needed to add extra for that but ironically, when she asked permission to take over, she literally spend additional 25 minutes on the toe nails doing ingrown “skin” and took 3 minutes to use a nail file to scrape off the dead skin on my heals and add lotion to it.

I would say, if you’re down for a tranquil atmosphere this is your spot! If you have higher expectations, ask for the right service provider so you have a better experience then I. Especially if you’re someone who’s had many many pedicures to know the difference.

I will give them another try because Donna did her best to make it right and asked for feedback back.

Go somewhere else. Questionable cleanliness- the manicurist used a pretty gross nail file, and I'm not sure she took the cuticle cutter or file from any packaging bc they were the only tools used, and usually the package has many more tools. Very rushed and not great quality manicure. Pedicure was better but not worth the stress the manicure caused.

Very kind staff! If you need anything adjusted or touchup they are happy to help and want their customers to be happy with their results. :) Thank you Gaia Nails for the beautiful work and touching up my toes when the polish chipped from wearing my tight shoes! You're the best!

Such a disappointing occurrence at this location while getting a pedicure. I had a toe nail lifting while getting a gel removal. Henry (the tech) was quiet when it happened, almost as if he wasn’t going to tell me about it if I continued to not pay attention. The tech next to him saw my concern and stated it could have been an injury. I do not recall an injury, however my biggest concern was the communication that followed. Henry continued to work on my nail, gluing the nail down and not giving me time to process what just happened. Another employee named Faun came by and again stated it was a previous injury and so at that point I left it alone.

The next day I came by to speak with the manager Faun, who apologized but also stated it’s not the techs job to communicate about the toe nail (I mentioned that I wish he’d stopped the pedicure to let me know or allow me to figure out what to do next). She stated that his only job is to complete the pedicure. She stated for me to speak up next time.

Overall, I will not continue going to this location. The conversation with Faun seemed dismissive and focused on how I should handle the situation if it was to happen again, and not taking full accountability.

First off let me say this place is exactly what you want in an organic nail salon setting.

As you step in you dont even feel like its a nail salon. Your not hit in the face with that awful chemical smell most salons have.

The Japanese wellness pedicure is what I chose and man was it worth it! They took there time and cared for me unlike any other place has before.

My wife got her nails done last week and was highly impressed with there talent and again how it is all organic! Highly recommend
