“My 4 yo daughter has been a student at UGA since March 2025. In the last 10 months she has gone from shy to her self to a confident two time gold medalist at the Grappling X Championships. She has learned valuable skills like leadership, confidence, social skills and best of all self defense! She matches boys and girls her size and age to kiddos that are older and bigger than her! Coach Johnson is very knowledgeable with 20+ years experience. His patience with the kids is compared to none! He leads by example and is dedicated to teaching all the kids and participants at the gym. He’s able to coach all ranges of abilities and makes everyone feel accepted! Of all the gyms we looked into in the high desert, UGA is the most family friendly, bang for your buck and best community! My husband and I joined the adults class in October 2025 and it’s been the best thing for our family. We get the opportunity to workout together and have learned self defense. His adults classes are challenging but coach makes sure to accommodate every fitness level. It’s really a great gym to join!“
