Fairytale Hair & Makeup was an absolute joy to work with. Their team made the entire getting-ready experience feel relaxed, fun, and special. They didn’t just make everyone look beautiful, they made everyone feel beautiful too. They were kind, joyful, and so easy to talk to, which made the morning feel like spending time with friends instead of vendors.
The bride and bridesmaids loved how their hair and makeup turned out, and everything lasted beautifully throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily recommend them to any couple looking for both talent and great energy.

I have worked with this company as a bridesmaid and as a bride, and they are wonderful. They are a great value, allow several options for payment that is great flexibility for weddings, and the administrative staff and stylists were all friendly and helpful. My stylist Jazmin flawlessly achieved my inspiration pictures with one trial, and even with almost a year in between trial and the wedding she recreated it perfectly. Rachel was there the day of to assist with my bridal party and made everything look amazing. Plus they were so helpful answering questions along the way leading up to the big day!

AMAZING TEAM!! If you are searching for a hair and makeup team to make all of your hair and makeup vision come to life and exceed your expectations - definitely book with them!! Candice, Lizz, and Adri worked incredibly well together, were sweet, hardworking, professional and everyone's looks came out so gorgeous! I had Candice and Lizz as my main bridal team and both did a tremendous job with communication leading up to the big day, with my trial and wedding day. I had 8 other women needing services on my wedding day so needless to say I needed an effective and efficient team to get all of us ready by 12PM -Candice on hair, Lizz on makeup and Adri did both hair and makeup AND the 3 ladies did just that! I cannot say enough about Fairytale Hair and Makeup. I would book them again and again if I could!

We recently hired Fairytale Hair and Makeup for our wedding in Ojai. Monica and Tara were absolutely amazing to work with! They both worked with my on multiple trials to get everything just right. On our wedding day, they were so great with all of my bridesmaids and family. My godmother wasn't supposed to get her makeup done, but Monica was so sweet and fit her in anyway! All of my wedding party and family raved about both Tara and Monica. And my hair and makeup couldn't have been more beautiful! It was almost 100 degrees, and everything still looked amazing well into the night. We definitely recommend Fairytale Hair and Makeup!

Lily at Fairytale Hair and Makeup did my makeup for my May wedding. She was incredible! We did a trial before, and the day of I went in a different direction. She was so patient, accommodating and helpful, and I was so happy with how the result was natural, soft glam, and I felt the most beautiful I ever have! She also did amazing work with my Mom. Something else to mention is that I have VERY sensitive, problematic skin, and Lily was able to work with it so well, with no hesitation whatsoever. If you are in Southern California, I highly recommend Lily!

BRIDES BE WARNED, if you have questions before hiring their services they will brush you off after they say they will answer questions. Setting up a call would have been easier than messaging back and forth, but no attempt was made to do so. Having never booked hair and makeup before, I naturally had a lot of questions. Apparently this was wrong of me. You’d think that they would want their potential client to feel comfortable prior to securing a binding contract and dropping a large sum for their services. Delays in replies, refusal to provide the trial location estimate so I would know how far I would need to drive, and inaccuracy in pricing after making updates to my contract made me realize this company is not as professional as they seem to be. Look elsewhere. Their lack of sensitivity proves that I will be happy with another company.
