Went in for a simple men's haircut. Mary was professional and I feel that she did a great job. She cut my hair just as I asked her to in a timely manner. The hair cut was reasonably priced compared to other places. The salon is small and has a family owned feel to it, which I liked. When I moved back to Ventura, I started going to Beauty by Mary, after asking my parents where they went to get haircuts. Mary not only does an outstanding job, she can sense when my nervous energy can’t sit still and she hustles to get me out the door. When I’m clam, we chat. She has a pleasant personality that is warm and peaceful. Mary makes me look good. That’s the first reason I go to her. The second is she can usually accommodate me when I arrive. If she’s busy, I’ll get a taco next door, and then she’ll cut my hair when I’m finished. Her area has lots of free parking, not too many crazy drivers, and easy access.
