“Historically I’ve had a really hard time finding someone who can cut my hair properly. It’s really thin and tends to look flat and frizzy. For years I’ve been growing it as I always dreamed of a big mane of hair. Sitting in slims chair I told her all of my fears and anxiety and she was kind and listened. I just had my second strict and allowed her to do some long layers (which scared me to death) let me say wow! Slim gave me the best haircut of my life. So easy to style and or not style and looks fresh, sexy and awesome.

“I almost never get my haircuts by a barber, but I was looking for something different than just an at-home buzz cut. Can't say enough great things about the owner of this business. He's super friendly, patient, and careful. At multiple points, he paused to ask what I wanted before proceeding. He is the only barber present, so I would expect a wait and bring something to keep you busy if you're going in the middle of the day. I came immediately at 11:00 AM, and there were two people already lined up by the time I finished at 11:30 AM. Note that this business is walk-in only and does not take appointments. I also appreciated that my barber knew exactly what to do with Asian male hair, which cannot be said about most barbershops. At the time of this writing, my haircut was $28, and I provided a 25% tip ($7). Parking just to the left of the business or on the street is free and not too difficult to find. Would definitely give this place a try if you are in West LA. It's also next to Costco which is a big win too lol“
