My 2015 Ram EcoDiesel is being serviced again at Rydell on San Fernando Rd in San Fernando. Had the oil changed two weeks ago and they discovered a small coolant leak. I took it back a couple days ago and it's in their shop now. I was even offered a 15% discount on all parts and labor. I have to wait in line a couple days because they are so busy. Fingers crossed they do their usual great work and keep the cost down. This is more money Van Nuys CDJR isn't getting from me.

I made an appointment with the sales guy Steve at Van Nuys Dodge on Ventura Blvd who i spent three hours of my time evaluating trucks and what was available and so on. I met Steve at the dealership at the pre set appointment of 12pm August 10th 2025. After picking out the truck that I wanted and agreeing on price and discounts with two different managers who handled the sale / transaction of a purchase of a new Dodge ram RHO. I was promised that my documents my CDL and auto Insurance would hold this truck until the next day today Monday August 11th 2025. I get a call from the dealership Monday morning August 11th they informed the vehicle was sold . He stated because I didn't have a signed agreement or deposit they were contractually not obligated. I agree (they were not contractually obligated) but out of courtesy to a customer they could have called me and I would come down after my obligation on the 10th to sign papers and give them my deposit. The GM Jonathan Schultz kept leaning on "not contractually obligated" nothing was said about it was wrong how can we make it up you other than will work to find you another truck. I wanted that truck and time was critical because of work situations. Long story short, I guess it's the car business and we all know the term "car salesman". It's unfortunate, professionalism goes along way and some people just don't get it. I've moved on and will buy a truck from another dealership.

Be aware! Read reviews even before getting water from this place! Bottom line: these people are scam artists. Be careful. Stay away from them! Look for a different dealership! Three years ago, we signed a lease for a car. At the time of purchase, the staff was incredibly friendly. But just three months in, the horn stopped working -- and I had a newborn in the car at the time. Imagine getting on the freeway and a truck tries to merge into your lane, and you have no horn to warn them -- with your newborn in the backseat!! A month later, the car alarm stopped working. Then the real issues began -- the car would randomly shut off while driving, or I'd press the gas and the car would shift itself into neutral and not move. When I brought it in, someone checked it and couldn't figure out why it kept getting stuck in neutral. They told me I'd have to leave it for a minimum of two weeks. I asked for a loaner, because it made no sense that I'd be left without a car -- especially a brand-new one I just got three months ago. He laughed in my face and said if I couldn't manage without a car for two weeks, I should just come back when I could. I ended up solving the issue myself by watching a YouTube video -- something their certified mechanic couldn't do. Honestly, embarrassing for them. After six months of ongoing issues with the car, I returned to the person who sold it to me. He told me there's nothing they could do -- and again offered to take the car in for a minimum of two weeks, with no replacement vehicle. I refused and kept driving the car. Now, as my lease is about to end, they won't stop harassing me with calls and emails -- it's been a nightmare! I blocked every number and email I could, and now they're calling from different numbers. Today, I went in to request my payoff quote and found out they put me on a 39-month lease instead of 36 -- something they completely misled me about at the time of signing! I clearly remember asking for a discount, and the manager, Mike, came back happily to say it was approved -- but what he actually did was extend the lease by three months without telling me! I'm honestly still in shock over this disgusting move. I've never signed a 39-month lease in my life and never would! Bottom line: these people are scam artists. Be careful. Stay away from them!
