“My son was there for a few days. Although he didn’t necessarily enjoy being there I was very pleased with the professionalism of his case worker Kristin and his therapist Michelle as well as everyone I spoke with there. Kristin and Michelle wete both very thorough and kept me informed of everything that was going on with my son. When I went to visit my son I was treated very respectfully and actually everyone I met from their staff seemed kind and considerate.Glenda, Shae, Trey, and William were all very friendly. As well as professional. Anytime I wanted to speak with my son during the phone hours it was never a problem. He was also able to phone me and anyone on his approved phone list as well. The pod my son was in had a person who when you called would tell me how my son was doing if I asked which i appreciated. Most importantly above all else I felt my son was safe! And he was. I didn’t give a five star because as I mentioned earlier my son really didn’t like being there at all and couldn’t wait to get out.if we asked him there’d be plenty of things he didnt like. .Didnt think he should’ve been there in the first place. . Nothing to do at times but other times there was activities he could participate in. Couldn’t bring certain things to his room. Or basically anything. But it’s a psych ward so of course he wouldn’t want to be there and there would things they had to do to keep the kids safe. Acknowledging that we hope he never has to return again my son and myself were treated very respectfully. Again my son’s therapist and social workers Kristin and Michelle were great and extremely helpful in every way. Last thing ..my son was only there for a few days and really didn’t like being there.at all. And why would he. I think for my son it was just a safe place for him to be until he could prove he wasn’t a threat to himself or others. And also importantly get some help figuring out what was going on with him. Which they did. Thank you to all the staff. 🙏“
