I have thick hair and a lot of hair. I came to the salon because I had gotten a bad haircut from another place and needed my hair fixed. I made an appointment with Payten. Payten was amazing. She walked through with me what she was seeing as the problem with my hair and talked with me about options. She took into consideration my lifestyle - I am low maintenance and active so I needed to be able to wash and go and put my hair back when exercising. She explained to me everything she was doing as she went along. I loved the final results.

Highly recommend Payten for anyone who has thick hair.

Payten is skilled at her profession. I have fine/thin hair and she knew exactly what i needed. She also gave me great advice throughout my cut. I will definitely be going back and recommending her to others in the area!

Phoebe is the best blonding specialist on the planet. She does my hair better than anyone I've ever gone to. I started seeing her when we were both in San Diego, and even after I moved away, I would still travel to San Diego just for her to do my hair. Now that we are both in the Bay Area, I commute from San Francisco to Platinum Hair in Vacaville every 6-8 weeks to have my hair done by her. It's so worth it. She's amazing—also incredibly sweet and funny. After all these years, she's not only my stylist but also a friend. Anybody wanting perfect blonde hair should go see Phoebe at Platinum Hair Salon.
